San Francisco to Copenhagen Begins This Fall

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) announced plans to begin non-stop operations from San Francisco to Copenhagen later this Fall. The 3X weekly departures will be operated by Airbus-340 aircraft, featuring 3-classes of service: Business Class (with chairs that recline into a bed), Economy Extra (extra legroom and inflight service) and Economy Class.

In November 2001, SAS withdrew San Francisco plans because of a downward trend in air travel.

At present, SAS only flies to four other U.S destinations: Seattle, New York City, Chicago and Washington D.C. The added San Francisco service is expected to begin this November, although presently tickets are not available on their website.
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is made up of four airlines, SAS International, SAS Denmark, SAS Norway and SAS Sweden.
