San Francisco to Asia flights from $789 "all in"

Pretty good deals just released for flights into Asia. If you haven't had much luck recently finding good airfares, consider repricing your ideal itinerary. Other destinations have had price reductions as well. Here are a couple inFLIGHTout confirmed deals:

• Asiana Airlines, San Francisco to Hong Kong (HKG) flights from $789 round-trip, tax included. "V" booking class.
• Northwest Airlines, San Francisco to Shanghai (PVG) $874 from round-trip, taxes included. "K" booking class.

The fares about were found for 9/2-9/9, though the low fares are available all the way through early December.

Early Fall International Airfare Sale Now In Progress

Certainly not the best fares we've seen historically, but these deals aren't to shabby either.

Oasis Hong Kong Ends Operations, Passengers Stranded

Low Cost Carrier Oasis Hong Kong Airlines, recently voted "World’s Leading New Airline" at the Annual World Travel Awards 2007, appears to have flown its last flight. Record high fuel prices and stiff competition triggered heavy losses to Oasis Hong Kong.

In its 17 months of operations, the airline flew International routes from its base in Hong Kong, including to Vancouver, BC. It was expected that Oasis Hong Kong was going to introduce flights into Oakland in the coming months.

Fare is available for April on both Northwest and United Airlines. United requires a 6 night minimum stay, Northwest does not. Those interested in visiting other destinations in Asia could consider low-cost-carriers that fly in/out of Hong Kong Airport.
