Valid for Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday travel between October 21 - October 29, and Tuesday and Saturday travel November 1 - November 19. This special fare ends at 3:30 PM Today, and must be purchased using Southwest's DING! Program.

Fares for this route usually run over $200 round trip.

It's been a while since we've seen some good Southwest Airlines Ding! fares, but now they're back! You must download the DING! program (free) onto your PC or MAC in order to see DING! fares. This week Southwest Airlines began offering DING! fares to & from San Francisco airport.

DING! is an online application which alerts subscribers to special Southwest Airline airfare deals - deals not even found on their own website. DING, named because of the familiar ding chime heard on airplanes, often releases deals once or twice a day and usually must be purchased that day. American Airlines officially released Dealfinder today, a downloadable desktop tool reportably to offer people more options and control when booking travel. The program was available on a limited Beta basis before today. Some say it has the same feel as Southwest Airlines Ding! downloadable program, but has fallen short since it focuses on more vacation packages and less on bargain basement cheap down and dirty give it to me for next to free fares, that Southwest sometimes offers. Also unlike Southwest, American hasn't so far announced any free miles/credits for giving the program a try.
