Southwest released a new set of DING! fares today, including a hot fare from SFO-Austin for $68 each way. Valid for Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday travel between October 21 - October 29, and Tuesday and Saturday travel November 1 - November 19. This special fare ends at 3:30 PM Today, and must be purchased using Southwest's DING! Program.
Fares for this route usually run over $200 round trip.

Southwest DING! fares (available only if you have the free software downloaded from Southwest) are running $37 bucks from the Bay down to Southern California. Today's DING! fares expire at 12:52 PM!!
Fly to destinations such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Burbank or Ontario for just $37 one way through September. These cheap cheap fares are not available on every flight every day, so give yourself some time to hunt and peck for the ones that best suit your needs & budget.

San Francisco to Orange County or Ontario $41/each way
Southwest DING! Fares have been running about $41 each way from the Bay Area to Southern California all week. Today, they are specific from San Francisco to Ontario (good airport to fly into for a trip to Palm Springs) and Orange County (think Disneyland).
There are also great fares from Sacramento to Los Angeles and Ontario for $41/each way.
Travel is restricted to certain flights through the end of July 2008.

Hot Hot DING fares
It's been a while since we've seen some good Southwest Airlines Ding! fares, but now they're back! You must download the DING! program (free) onto your PC or MAC in order to see DING! fares. Purchase by 3pm Central Time Wednesday, for travel during certain days in March and April. Prices below are one way, before tax. Example fares:Oakland-Los Angeles or Reno $38

This week Southwest Airlines began offering DING! fares to & from San Francisco airport.DING! is an online application which alerts subscribers to special Southwest Airline airfare deals - deals not even found on their own website. DING, named because of the familiar ding chime heard on airplanes, often releases deals once or twice a day and usually must be purchased that day. Oakland, San Jose and Sacramento airports have listings daily, and now San Francisco was just added to the daily digest as well. More information on DING! can be found here.
