Allegiant Airlines, which initiated flights between Oakland and Eugene last summer, is offering some pretty good airfares over the next few months. Keep in mind, they fly only twice a week - Monday and Friday, but with airfares as low as $20 bucks each way (most are $29 bucks and up), this deal is certainly worth mentioning.

When booking this deal, proceed slowly and with caution. By default, the Allegiant Airlines website displays prices for air and hotel package for two passengers with advanced seat assignments. Select/deselect these options as appropriate. Choosing airfare only - without advance seating, you can fly to Eugene and back for under $100.

Allegiant Air to Launch Oakland to Eugene Flights

According to the Allegiant Air website, new nonstop service will be introduced between Oakland and Eugene, Oregon, starting June 8, 2009. Currently the route is scheduled for twice weekly service, operating on Monday's and Friday's. Introductory fares of $39 each way are currently available on the allegiantair.com website. 

Earlier this year, the point-to-point carrier added flights between Oakland and Bellingham, Washington, and has recently announced additional operations from Monterey airport.
