WestJet Adds Seasonal Flights from SFO to Canada

Canada-based WestJet Airlines resumes seasonal service between San Francisco and Calgary and Edmonton beginning May 2nd. Calgary service operates daily, Edmonton three days a week. WestJet will also operate flights between SFO and Vancouver between May 2nd and October 31st.

WestJet Adds Additional San Francisco Routes

Canada-based WestJet unveiled its Summer 2010 flight schedule, including new routes from San Francisco to Edmonton and Vancouver. The 3-times weekly Edmonton flights begin May 8, 2010, while once-daily Vancouver flights commence June 28th. Both routes are considered Seasonal additions. Click here for more information.

WestJet currently serves San Francisco airport with flights to its Calgary hub.

Alaska Airlines Ends San Francisco to Vancouver Flights

On August 24th, Alaska Airlines will discontinue the San Francisco to Vancouver route. The airline operates two daily Boeing 737 flights between the city pair. Passengers will need to connect through the airlines' Portland or Seattle hub in order to continue into Vancouver.
