JetBlue flights of two hours or longer will now feature and pillow and blanket - for $7. Yes, they are trying to sell us on something that was previously free. According to the airline, the nap pack features a hypoallergenic pillow and fleece blanket that passengers are free to keep after use. The airline is including a $5 Bed Bath and Beyond coupon with each pack.
U.S Airways, who recently began charging for on board soft drinks and coffee, responded to the JetBlue news by stating a charge for pillows is something they plan to institute in the future as well.
