Amtrak just released their newest promotion: Up to triple Amtrak Guest Rewards points for travel between now and May 29, 2010. Here's how it works:

1. Register for the promotion here

2. Travel between now and May 7 for a double points bonus.

3. Travel between May 8 and May 29 for a triple points bonus.

4. Points earn with the promotion will post concurrently with regular point earnings.

As always, travel along the Capitol Corridor - between the Bay Area and Sacramento, is eligible under this promotion.

Two Amtrak Bonus Point Offers Now Active

In addition to the double points promotion (registration required) running through December 19th, Amtrak riders can also earn a bonus 250 points for the first Acela trip, or 100 points for the first trip on all other Amtrak trains. Kids ride free on Amtrak's Capitol Corridor train on weekends now through November 1, 2009. Limit is one kid, age 2-15, for each full-fare adult ticket purchased.
