Double Southwest Credits Flying into Philadelphia or DC Airports

Now for a limited time, earn double Southwest RapidRewards credits when you fly to/from Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Washington-Dulles airports. That means two credits for each one-way flight, instead of the usual one credit. You must register for the promotion, then book travel by August 11, 2010, and complete all travel by September 30th.

Southwest Airlines Announces Double Credit Promotion

This morning Southwest Airlines announced a "Double Credit Days" promotion, whereby registered Rapid Rewards members will earn double credits for all flights between now and May 26, 2010. That means after just 4 roundtrips (even the short trips to Los Angeles and San Diego) you will earn a free ticket anywhere Southwest flies. Click here to read all the details and to sign up.

Earn Up To Triple Points for Amtrak Travel Systemwide

Amtrak just released their newest promotion: Up to triple Amtrak Guest Rewards points for travel between now and May 29, 2010. Here's how it works:

1. Register for the promotion here
2. Travel between now and May 7 for a double points bonus.
3. Travel between May 8 and May 29 for a triple points bonus.
4. Points earn with the promotion will post concurrently with regular point earnings.

As always, travel along the Capitol Corridor - between the Bay Area and Sacramento, is eligible under this promotion.

Southwest Fliers: Register for Double Rapid Rewards Credit






Southwest Rapid Rewards members can now earn double credit for all flights between now and October 31, 2009. That means you earn 2 credits for each one way flight (4 if it's a roundtrip) to any city Southwest serves. Similar to other double credit offers offered by other airlines the past couple weeks, the promo is for new business/tickets - not for reservations made prior to the promotion start date. Continental Airlines Offers Double Elite Miles Promotion

Continental is the latest airline to offer a Fall/Winter double elite-qualifying miles promotion. Under the terms, members of Continental's OnePass program will earn double EQM's for all flights between September 9 and December 15, 2009. Registration is required. In the past week, American and United announced similar promotions.

Quick to respond to yesterday's American Airlines double-elite qualifying miles offer, United Airlines just released a similar promotion. Register to earn either double elite-qualifying miles or segments for travel on United between September 3rd and December 15, 2009. If you are a general member with United (no status), or you are close to achieving the next tier of status with the airline, definitely register for this promotion, as it makes it much easier to reach various elite level thresholds.

Double Southwest & United Credit for Flights to/from Colorado

Southwest and United Airlines are both offering frequent flyer promotions for travelers flying to and from the state of Colorado. In both promos, registration is required prior to travel.

Southwest Airlines: Register by July 31, ticket and travel by September 30, 2009; earn double credits for each flight to/from Denver.

United Airlines: Register and ticket by June 30, travel by September 30, 2009;
earn double miles for flights to/from Denver, Aspen, Colorado Springs, Durango or Grand Junction.
